Terms of Service

Welcome to StoryRide. By using our app or website, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

StoryRide is an AI-powered interactive storytelling platform. You choose a genre, and our AI generates a unique story narrated aloud. You guide the story through voice commands or on-screen choices. Stories are generated in real-time and are unique to each session.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use StoryRide. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier: Create 1 story per month at no cost.

Plus ($4.99/month or $39.99/year): Up to 20 stories per month, all voices, story saving and sharing, RPG mode, and priority generation.

• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe (web) depending on your platform.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's account settings (App Store / Play Store) or through the web dashboard.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, Google, or Stripe according to their respective policies.

4. AI-Generated Content

All stories are generated by AI and may contain unexpected or imperfect content. StoryRide does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated stories. Content filters are applied but may not catch everything.

You retain ownership of any custom prompts you provide. AI-generated story content is provided for your personal use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or payment requirements
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service or its APIs
• Share your account with others or resell access

6. Community Templates

If you publish story templates to the StoryRide library, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and distribute them within the Service. You may unpublish your templates at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

StoryRide is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings within the app.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
