StoryRide ("we," "our," or "us") operates the StoryRide mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email from those providers.
Voice Input: When you use voice commands to interact with stories, your speech is processed on-device or via platform speech recognition APIs. We do not store raw audio recordings. Voice input is converted to text to guide your story choices.
Story Data: Stories you create, your choices within stories, and saved progress are stored in our database associated with your account.
Usage Data: We collect basic analytics such as app opens, features used, and error logs to improve the Service.
Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by Apple (App Store), Google (Play Store), or Stripe (web). We do not directly collect or store credit card numbers.
StoryRide uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate story content and AI text-to-speech services to narrate stories. Your story prompts and choices are sent to these AI services to generate content. We do not use your story data to train AI models.
